Ok.  I don't begrudge anyone a college education.  2 years, 4 years, 10 years, whatevs.  And, yes, sometimes it's hard to proofread your writing, especially when it's a long involved narrative, research paper, historical analysis, etc.  Tyops happen.  However, if you have a small advertisement, with one line of text for an ONLINE COLLEGE, don't you think you could at least get a simple homophonic issue correct? HELLO!  Ever pass 6th grade English?

Case in point.  I saw this at the top of some random page I found out on in the interwebz today.

Think Your Too Busy...  Well, at least they got the too/to thing right.  I just have to say that the amateur copyeditor in me is cringing at the craptastic capitalization used on the ad.  Did some random office temp just sit down and create this monstrocity?

I think I'm too busy to go back to school at a school that doesn't realize what's wrong with that banner.

To answer a question you wrote a long time ago on my blog, I was a counselor at both camps, a camper at one. Met my hubby there.
